Volvo XC40 ventilation flow question

Hey, I just picked up a basic XC40, and it didn't come with rear air vents. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the air ducts are already running through the center console in these lower-end models? I'm planning to upgrade the back seat ventilation, so any info would be super helpful before I start messing around with stuff

@scanditorque1022 bro, Before you tear into it, sometimes you can get a peek with an inspection camera (borescope) if you can snake it into a small opening in the console.
That might save you some time and effort if the ducts truly aren't there

Congrats on the XC40! In most lower trims , the ducts are usually there but capped off, so adding rear vents might just be a matter of getting the right parts.. Best bet is to pull the center console panel and take a quick look before diving in

Volvo cheaping out on rear vents in the XC40 is wild, for the price, every trim should have 'em. Bet the ducts are there, but they'll nickel-and-dime you regardless
