Hi guys, I got this awesome 2017 volvo xc40 and am planning to replace the tires with the BFGoodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires

Just ordered the 235/55R19, but still nervous about rubbing

What do you think guys, is this a yay or nay?

Those Trail Terrain T/As are actually great all-rounders, with 235/55R19, rubbing should be minimal if your suspension's stock...I'd say it's a yay

Those Trail Terrains are actually pretty good for everyday driving and some light off-roading, better than you'd think.

Are you going to lower the tire pressure when you're on trails, or will you mostly be on the road?

I think the model you ordered is slightly larger than common stock sizes. Are you planning on any suspension changes like a lift or just the tire swap?

Agree, the 235/55R19 tires should fit your XC40 without any rubbing issues since they're pretty close to the original size. If you're considering BFG Trail Terrains, they're a solid option for some light off-roading. Just make sure to check the clearance when the wheels are fully turned and under compression to be safe.
