Living with my XC40 in vapor grey

I've been driving my XC40 in Vapor Grey for a little while now, and I'll admit, I ordered it without ever seeing one in person. In the sunlight it comes across as a soft, light grey, almost silvery, while at night it takes on a deeper, more understated tone. Honestly, I love the contrast, it feels fresh by day and classy after dark. Does anyone feel the same about theirs?

My XC40 is painted with Osmium Grey Metallic and I thought it was a phenomenal color until I saw a 2022 I think in Vapor Grey. That thing is on another level and I'm seriously considering repainting it sometime in the future.

Osmium is sharp, but Vapor Grey has this chameleon vibe that really grows on you. A repaint would be bold, but I can see why it's tempting after seeing it in person

@Talkthetalk totally get what you mean. Vapor Grey really does change with the light. It’s subtle enough to stay classy at night but still feels fresh in the sun. Honestly, I think it’s one of those colors that grows on you the more you drive it.

Agreed, it’s one of those colors that looks different every time you walk up to it. Volvo nailed that balance where it’s never boring but never loud either.
